It was kinda foggy, yet I wanted to go outside and took some pictures. So I stop at this place, located at the heart of the beautiful San Clemente, Southern CA. It is a small but beautiful place around. Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens is a non-profit organization and is the historic home of the founder of the City of San Clemente. Casa Romantica provides programs for all ages in arts, music, history, and horticulture and is a premier Southern California cultural center.
It’s a Spanish style mansion, from where you can view the pier and the sea, of course. Casa Romantica was the home of the city’s founder, Ole Hanson, and his wife and 10 children. In more modern times, the now-90-year-old structure was turned into one of the county’s first cultural centers, offering musical events, art programs and workshops. I love the romantic sense this place has to offer.
With its enchanting ocean terrace and Spanish-design white stucco walls, it has become the romantic setting for weddings.
I will come back to this place soon. Usually, admission fee is $5/person, yet it will be free for people to come and visit every first Sunday of each month.
